Tour Information

This African Safari tour, which includes an adventure with wildlife on a private game reserve, is what you are looking for!

Kruger National Park is THE world famous natural wildlife park on the eastern border of South Africa which was formed in 1898 and is just under 2 million hectares in size. It offers you the most spectacular array of wildlife ever seen.

The "Big Five" game, namely: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo, are regularly seen. Kruger Park stretches 350km from north to south and between 50 and 70km from east to west, has over 500 bird species, 147 mammal species, 114 species of reptile, more than 200 species of butterfly, 7 major river systems and 35 different landscapes, from river forest to open dry savannah. It has, interestingly, over 300 archaeological sites of stone age man and signs of bushmen (San inhabitants) dating back to 1500 years ago. Kruger National Park is the primary safari area in South Africa.

Kruger Park is vast and boasts big herds of animals, where a herd of over 500 buffalo might be seen crossing in front of you. Kruger Park is a natural landscape untouched for centuries. For this reason game viewing is restricted to roads to keep this landscape unspoilt.

Sit back and experience the freedom of exploring this vast park teeming with wildlife in the comfort of our open vehicle with a knowledgeable, registered and friendly guide. Hunt by camera on a photographic safari, enjoy comfortable accommodation, good food, warm hospitality and the exceptional open vehicle experience.

We continue our tour to the Tshukudu Private Game Reserve and Lodge, where you experience wildlife close by, and enjoy true and affordable hospitality at its best.

DAY 1

Your qualified and experienced tour guide collects you at your address in the Gauteng region, take you on a tour of the beautiful Panorama region of the Mpumalanga Province, while you sit back and relax, taking in the vast changes in scenery, on to the escarpment where you drive along one of the most beautiful panoramic routes in South Africa. You visit the Blyde river canyon at the 3 Rondawels, Bourkes Luck Potholes, and God's Window. Late afternoon we check into our hotel. Here you will relax and enjoy the evening.

Overnight at Graskop Hotel (bed & breakfast basis). Drinks for your own account.

DAY 2

This morning you have an early breakfast and then enter Kruger Park to find as many animals possible. You continue your game viewing as well as take in all the beautiful nature that South Africa has on offer. In the late afternoon we reach our camp and enjoy the relaxing peace and quiet of the African bushveld.

Overnight at Berg and Dal camp (bed & breakfast basis). Drinks for your own account.

DAY 3

This morning we leave the camp very early to drive out of Kruger Park whilst we are still hunting the Big 5 and other game with our cameras. We stop for breakfast at Hippo Hollow in the town of Hazyview. After breakfast we continue our journey into the Limpopo Lowveld and travel on to the private game lodge Tshukudu. Lunch will be served as you arrive. After lunch you enjoy a short siesta. Later in the afternoon you have tea and cake, and then head out on your open 4x4 safari vehicle. Here you get really close to the wild animals with your ranger, and continue to a sundowner in the bush. Once you embark your 4x4 vehicle again you 'hunt' for nocturnal animals, while heading back to the lodge for a lovely boma dinner under the stars.

Overnight at Tshukudu Game Lodge (lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast). Drinks for your own account

DAY 4

This morning at 05h50 your ranger wakes you for an early morning walk, a wonderful experience when you walk with a young lion. On this walk you once again learn about animals, animal tracks, lions, vegetation and the smaller things in the bush. Here at Tshukudu you may also meet the domesticated Cheetahs which were raised here. They sometimes like to join in on the morning walk. You might also meet them at the lodge while they are enjoying a treat from the staff in the kitchen. The cheetahs hunt for themselves, but still enjoy the attention that humans give them. After the walk you'll enjoy a well deserved breakfast, whereafter you head out for another game drive on an open 4x4 vehicle. On this drive you may visit the Lion and Leopard breeding project.

After the game drive we leave Tshukudu and head back to Johannesburg where you will be dropped off at an address of your choice.

Come tour with us on a holiday of adventure, in comfort on the Panorama route, and on safari in Kruger National Park and Tshukudu Private Game Reserve - a close-up photographic wildlife & walking safari adventure experience never forgotten!
